M-CAL Performance Technology in association with B-Tec racing can provide rolling road testing for purposes ranging from Engine Calibration through to monitoring Drive Train power loss.

The Rolling road test cell provides a safe and controlled environment where the performance of the vehicles engine and drive train can be closely monitored throughout the testing procedure.

Using state-of-the-art hardware and software, we can simulate various road and track conditions, without the need for labour intensive and time consuming road testing. We have the ability to confidently optimise control systems in a controlled environment quickly identify engine faults, and accurately compare overlaid power runs to enable us to closely monitor and changes applied to the vehicle.

\""\""\""\"" The B-Tec Dynamometer uses sophisticated digital processors which give exceptional speed control and high resolution shaft encoders which give 500 digital pulses per revolution and the very best in temperature compensated load cells.

Accuracy is paramount in calibration and diagnostics. The rolling road chassis features a unique fluted surface that eliminates the problem of tyre slippage at the roller surface which can have a major impact on accuracy.

The Dynamometer is ultra sensitive, detecting changes as minute as alternator load. Unlike most Chassis Dynomometers, the Dastek Dynamometer has its rollers machined both inside and out to enhance high speed dynamic balancing. Furthermore, its close-couple roller arrangement replicates the vehicle\'s normal road ground clearance, which helps in the simulation of the airflow and prevents \'drop down\' problems associated with low vehicles or race Cars with low front splitters and diffusers.
