K type thermocouples can be used to measure temperatures from -270DegC to 1370DegC and are often used for exhaust temp. measurement. If used with a MoTeC ECU or Dash Logger, a Thermocouple Amplifier is required. If used with an E888 Expander or VIM, the amplifier is not required.
