MoTeCs Standalone Knock Module (SKM) provides individual cylinder closed loop knock control allowing high performance ignition maps to be safely optimised. The SKM is housed in a robust aluminium casing and can be mounted anywhere in the vehicle. It is wired between the ECU and the OEM fitted knock sensor. Configuration of the module requires a competent tuner to carry out a frequency analysis and tune the control system. This is highly specialised work and therefore the MoTeC Knock Modules will only be available through authorised dealers that have undertaken specific training.
